AGFA Corporation manufactures electronic image management equipment, film printers and medical/consumer film. As part of Florida Hospital Celebration Health, AGFA has provided the technology for the backbone and database of our Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) as well as all of our computed radiography needs. This allows images to be obtained in a digital format and interpreted from high-resolution monitors. PACS allows Florida Hospital Celebration Health to send images throughout the Florida Hospital network so the most appropriate radiologist can interpret the data promptly and accurately. All images are permanently stored on a redundant long-term computer archive for easy retrieval, even years from now.
