This split-second scanning is particularly important in emergency medicine, and pediatric care, as one is no longer required to hold their breath or stay still during the scan. In addition, the Flash CT is the fastest cardiac scanner on the market, capable of scanning the entire heart within a single heartbeat, thus eliminating the need for beta-blockers.
